Michael Wayne Foster is an American actor and producer.  Born in Monroe, Michigan to Rowland Foster (Educator) and Emilie Foster (R.N.).  Michael excelled in sports his 12th grade year and chose to pursue that path to Mount Union College in Alliance, Ohio.  He spent two years on the baseball and basketball teams before focusing on a career in education.  As a high school English teacher for 9 years, Michael sharpened his improv skills, which were called upon in 2005 when he first appeared on national television.  “A chance to get out and work in New York learning of the opportunities the entertainment industry provides was overwhelming.  It (Hollywood) had my attention and I wanted to see what possibilities I could explore.”   With a M.A. in education and a B.A. in English, Michael set his sights on a newfound passion: Show Business.  In less than a year he resigned from education and moved to Los Angeles. “Teaching was an incredible journey and I am so lucky to have been a part of so many great kid’s lives.  However; every journey has to end when another begins,” he reflected.

Michael has built up a formidable career in Hollywood as an actor in both film and television. His numerous credits began when he first appeared in GI JOE: The Rise of Cobra as a COBRA NEO-VIPER.   “Having the opportunity to play one of my favorite childhood characters was such an incredible feeling,” he stated.  “I even had multiple viper toys because I liked them so much!”   He followed that feeling with another childhood dream in Miracle at Gate 213 where he played opposite of Academy Award winners Louis Gossett Jr. and Shirley Jones.  Michael then landed guest-starring roles in 90210, Disney’s Kickin’ It and Gamer’s Guide to Pretty Much Everything, MTV’s Awkward, Nickelodeon’s The Thundermans and Henry Danger, ABC's The Middle and Black-ish.  He has appeared multiple times on SYFY’s Face-Off and has been featured on ABC Family, STYLE, BRAVO, NATGEO and A&E.  Michael has numerous national commercials for companies such as AT&T and Coca-Cola.  After securing the starring role in David V Goliath, IMDB named him #32 on their list of Hollywood’s most physically imposing actors.  He recently starred in AMC's THE WALKING DEAD: RED MACHETE as Derek. Michael has appeared on over 600 romance novel covers and is currently sponsored by AI SPORTS NUTRITION as a spokesperson/model/creative consultant.
